The Brise competition starter motors are in most cases, a direct replacement for the original, and are manufactured from 100% new components. The Brise planetary gear reduction (PGR) starters use a side mounted solenoid, which, with a slim body diameter of 73mm ensures the product has a compact design ideal for aftermarket, competition or bespoke installations. Axial starter motors have an axial solenoid and a planetary gear providing more clearance for tighter spaces. These starters also feature a CNC machined removable mount which allows the installer to adjust the mounting position of the starter by up to 12 positions ensuring the solenoid is clear of any obstructions in the engine bay or in the most advantageous position for access.
